Today is an important day for Mean Girls fans.
And what better way to celebrate it than to make an artwork, right?
I did one last year, which I posted on my Tumblr account. (Side note: If you guys are on Tumblr, I still post frequently; mostly WIPs of what I post here.)
If I’m not mistaken, I used ink because of Inktober. And I was at the office at that time on a break.
This year, however, I thought I’d do it in watercolor.
I used Ultramarine Deep, Opera, and Indigo from Shin Han’s PWC Extra Fine Artists Watercolor, exclusively brought here in the Philippines by the lovely folks of Art Whale. Do check them out and go gaga over the colors. I also used an Arches cold pressed watercolor block and favorite synthetic brushes from Van Gogh and Winsor and Newton.
For the benefit of those who haven’t watched Mean Girls yet, one of the movie’s best quotes (and there are A LOT) is “On Wednesdays, we were pink.”

Here’s to the Aaron Samuels of our lives! And may we all live a happy ever after like Lindsay Lohan’s Cady Heron. 🙂
